A-14 - Act respecting legal aid and the provision of certain other legal services
Section 4
Disposition versions
4. Legal aid shall be granted to a person who is financially eligible according to the provisions of subdivision 1 of this division for the legal services described in subdivision 2 of this division and in the regulations.
It shall also be granted, for the legal services provided for in paragraph 1.1 of section 4.7, to a person who is not so financially eligible.
4. Legal aid shall be granted to a person who is financially eligible according to the provisions of subdivision 1 of this division for the legal services described in subdivision 2 of this division, in the second paragraph of section 32.1 and in the regulations.
It shall also be granted, for the legal services provided for in paragraph 1.1 of section 4.7, to a person who is not so financially eligible.
4. Legal aid shall be granted, on application, to a person who is financially eligible according to the provisions of subdivision 1 of this division for the legal services described in subdivision 2 of this division, in the second paragraph of section 32.1 and in the regulations and to the extent provided for therein.
4. In no case may legal aid be granted except according to the conditions and modalities established by this Act, subject to the conditions relating to the eligibility of a person for legal aid.
An economically underprivileged person must, to receive legal aid, establish the probable existence of a right or, as the case may be, the need of legal service.
4. An economically underprivileged person who can establish the probable existence of a right or, as the case may be, the need of legal service is entitled to receive legal aid under this act and the regulations.
